Virtual Prepaid Visa Cards and MasterCard Prepaid Cards are generally valid worldwide and accepted in more than 150+ countries wherever Visa or MasterCard is accepted, but they can only be used online or over the phone. They can mostly be used as a regular credit card, however, they can only be charged for an amount equal to or less than the amount available on the card at the time of purchase. For example, a $100 prepaid card can be used to make a $99.99 purchase but not a $100.01 purchase.
Prepaid cards aren't compatible with PayPal or any service where you attempt to transfer funds from the cards to another account or convert the balance to cash, such as Venmo, Apple Pay, or Samsung Pay. Prepaid cards do not support PIN Numbers and can't be used at an ATM. Please note: There are merchants that don't accept prepaid cards as a payment method.
Prepaid cards can't be used for subscription services. Prepaid cards may not be accepted where merchants store credit cards for ongoing or recurring purchases (a credit card bill, Car Rental or Hotels for example).
If you experienced an issue when using your prepaid card, we suggest contacting the merchant directly for additional information to find out why your card isn't working with a particular merchant or on a particular website. You can also access your card details and available transaction information by clicking the original redemption link used to redeem your card.
