You can use your prepaid reward card with any merchant that accepts prepaid Visa or MasterCard; however, please note that there are merchants that don't accept prepaid cards as a payment method.
They can mostly be used as a regular credit card, however, they can only be charged for an amount equal to or less than the amount available on the card at the time of purchase. For example, a $100 prepaid card can be used to make a $99.99 purchase but not a $100.01 purchase.
Prepaid cards aren't compatible with PayPal or any service where you attempt to transfer funds from the cards to another account or convert the balance to cash.
Most prepaid rewards are not compatible with Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay. Click here for more information.
Prepaid cards can't be used at an ATM. Prepaid cards can't be used for subscription services. Prepaid cards may not be accepted where merchants store credit cards for ongoing or recurring purchases (for example a credit card bill, car rental service, or hotel).
If you experienced an issue when using your prepaid card, we suggest contacting the Cardholder Service Provider directly for additional assistance. If your card isn't working with a particular merchant or on a particular website, we would recommend contacting the merchant to understand why the transaction was unsuccessful.
