Gmail
- Sign in to your Gmail account
- Add the email address that is sending you the email (ex. support@company.com) to your Gmail Contacts. Google will typically deliver emails from email addresses that are in your Contacts.
- If Gmail has marked emails you wish to whitelist as spam, please follow these steps:
- Go to your spam folder.
- Search for emails containing the domain you wish to whitelist (ex. support@company.com)
- Select all the emails that appear
- Click ‘More’ and then mark the emails as ‘Not Spam’
Outlook
For Outlook.com, Windows Live Mail, Hotmail and MSN Mail, sign in to your Outlook account and do the following.
- Add the email address that is sending you the email (ex. support@company.com) to your Outlook Contacts. Outlook will typically deliver email from email addresses that are in your Contacts.
- Click the setting icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and then click ‘More Mail Settings’
- Click ‘Safe and Blocked Senders’ and then click ‘Safe Senders’
- Add the domain of the email address that you want to whitelist to your list of ‘Safe Senders’
- Return to ‘Safe and Blocked Senders’ and then click ‘Safe Mailing Lists’
- Add the email address you want to whitelist to your list of ‘Safe Mailing Lists’
Yahoo Mail
- Sign in to your Yahoo account
- Add the email address that is sending you the email (ex. support@company.com) to your Yahoo Mail Contacts. Yahoo will usually deliver emails from email addresses that are in your Contacts.
- Click the settings icon and then click ‘More Settings’
- Click ‘Filters’ and then click ‘Add’
- Enter a Filter Name
- Enter the domain of the email you want to whitelist in the ‘Sender’ field, or enter the email address you want to whitelist in the ‘Recipient’ field
- Select Inbox as the folder to deliver the email to
- Click ‘Save’
